THANKS FOR THIS YEAR

10 intense festival days have come to an end, and we want to say thank you to all of you who helped make CPH STAGE 2024 something special.

This year the festival offered everything from theatrical marathons and queer stand-up to international dance and new Danish drama from all over the country. It has been a great pleasure to meet all of you at the city's theatres and especially in our festival hub in the Royal Danish Playhouse.

We look forward to seeing you again next year on May 22-31.

We are CPH Stage

CPH STAGE is the country’s largest theatre festival for professional theatre and takes place every year in late May / early June in Copenhagen and Frederiksberg.

Over 10 days, you can experience both the highlights and the breadth of Danish theatre right now, as well as see international touring hits.

CPH STAGE is an opportunity to see both new productions and the shows you didn’t manage to catch this season. At the festival, you can let yourself be surprised and explore new paths in the Danish theatre landscape.In addition to the performances, CPH STAGE offers events, readings, debates, seminars, parties, and much more.
