K7 - seven days of culture

K7 is an annual nationwide cultural week held in week 37, focusing on theatre, museums, and classical music. The purpose of K7 is to introduce more young people to cultural life and to increase awareness of the country’s museums, classical music venues, and theatres – thereby helping to secure the cultural audiences of the future.

CPH STAGE is once again a co-organiser of the nationwide campaign K7 WEEK and is responsible for coordinating the participation of theatres.

About the campaign

In 2025, 29 theatres participated in the campaign. The evaluation showed, among other things, that 95% of the young participants developed a greater interest in exploring Danish cultural life after taking part in K7 WEEK.

The campaign consists of theatres across the country offering youth tickets during week 37 (September 7-13, 2026) at a price of DKK 40 per ticket (excluding fees) for selected performances. By participating, your theatre becomes part of a nationwide campaign targeting young audiences.

The campaign has a significant reach, with nearly half a million impressions on social media and 62,000 newsletter subscribers, with an open rate of 56.3%. Your performances will be promoted through these channels, among others.

Registration

In 2026, we aim to introduce even more young people to theatres across the country while expanding the range of performances. We therefore hope that you will take part.

Registration for K7 2026 opens in April.

The campaign will launch in August 2026. All participating theatres will receive campaign materials that are easy to use on social media and websites. You can read more about K7 WEEK here.

To ensure that the youth tickets qualify for dissemination funding, it is important that:

  • The performance is approved for dissemination funding
  • The customer is between 18 and 25 years old
  • The tickets apply only to performances in week 37 (from September 7 to 13, 2026)
