THANKS FOR NOW

This year's CPH STAGE was a blast of a festival. A big thank you to all of you who found your way into the theatre halls.

The festival's program has featured performances from both Denmark and abroad, where everything from alluring plays, impressive circus performances and meticulous dancing took over the city's stages. Now we gratefully look back on ten days of rich theatrical experiences that brought tears to the corners of our eyes, cause for laughter and time for contemplation.

CPH STAGE 2026 will take place from May 28 to June 6 and we are already looking forward to it.

We are CPH Stage

CPH STAGE is the country’s largest theatre festival for professional theatre and takes place every year in late May / early June in Copenhagen and Frederiksberg.

Over 10 days, you can experience both the highlights and the breadth of Danish theatre right now, as well as see international touring hits.

CPH STAGE is an opportunity to see both new productions and the shows you didn’t manage to catch this season. At the festival, you can let yourself be surprised and explore new paths in the Danish theatre landscape.In addition to the performances, CPH STAGE offers events, readings, debates, seminars, parties, and much more.
