Open Call for the Performing Arts Annual Meeting

Open Call for the Performing Arts Annual Meeting

We are pleased to announce an open call for the Performing Arts Annual Meeting, which this year will be presented under the title:

COURAGE AND HOPE IN THE PERFORMING ARTS - The Role of Art in a Time of Crisis

What does the performing arts do when free speech is under pressure and wars are edging closer? How do we act as an industry and as artists in these uncertain times? What is the significance of art and culture in a broken world? Denmark is rearming – what role should the performing arts play in this emergency?

The Annual Meeting of the Performing Arts will be held on May 22 from 10:00-15:00 in the Royal Danish Playhouse. There will be talks and workshops on three stages of 45 minutes duration, plus ongoing gatherings and the possibility of informal meetings.

CPH STAGE, Dansk Teater and ISCENE are organising the event and have arranged the first talks and presentations. Now we invite interested agents and organisations to invite and participate in the conversation at the Performing Arts Annual Meeting.

Working with you, we create a day full of important conversations. Together, let us create readiness, courage and hope in the performing arts!
