Ticket information

Ticket purchase on the festival website is via various ticket operators. The majority of tickets are sold through Billetten A/S, which means that you stay on our website throughout your ticket purchase. In some cases, however, you may be redirected to, for example, Billetto or The Royal Danish Theatre's webpage, from where you must purchase your tickets. The performance's purchase button will indicate whether you remain on our website or are redirected (→).

Please note that you may experience issues when purchasing tickets if you are using a Firefox or Safari browser. We recommend you to use Chrome when purchasing tickets

If you accept cookies, you can like the performances you are interested in, which are sold through Billetten A/S. This way, you can pile up and create your own personal festival programme, which you can share with someone you know, for example. You will also be able to close your browser and return to your likes later if you want to wait to buy tickets.

It is the individual theatre that is responsible for tickets and can answer questions about refunds, cancellations, etc. We therefore always advise that you contact them with any questions.

However, if you need technical assistance or have other ticket-related questions, please contact Teaterbilletter or Billetten A/S.

POSTPONEMENT OR CANCELLATION DUE TO BAD WEATHER

Danish spring and summer weather can be unpredictable, and weather forecasts are not always accurate. For performances that take place outdoors, we recommend that you dress for variable weather conditions.

The following terms apply to outdoor performances that are part of CPH STAGE SELECTED. If you would like more information about the conditions for outdoor performances at CPH STAGE that are not part of CPH STAGE SELECTED, we recommend that you contact the relevant theatre directly.

In the period leading up to an outdoor performance, we monitor weather forecasts closely. Completely reliable weather warnings can never be given, and therefore we never cancel a performance simply because it has been raining all day. There is always a chance that the weather will clear before the performance begins, and we wish to avoid unnecessary cancellations. For this reason, a decision regarding any potential cancellation is only made at the scheduled start time of the performance. Consequently, we are unable to inform you of a cancellation well in advance of the performance.

We offer ticket exchange/refund if:

  1. The performance is cancelled before a total of 40 minutes has been played.

We do NOT offer ticket exchange/refund if:

  1. The start of the performance is delayed. This occurs if we expect the weather to clear within 20 minutes.
  2. The performance is played with interruptions due to weather conditions.
  3. The performance is cancelled after a total playing time of more than 40 minutes.
