Experience three monologues in a full-length performance featuring the three Greenlandic actresses Aviana Steinbacher, Karina Møller, and Else Danielsen, presenting new Greenlandic drama written by the performers themselves in collaboration with director and dramaturg Hanne Trap Friis.
A musical, confrontational, and intimate portrayal that, among other things, challenges racism and celebrates time, life, and the Greenlandic spirit. The performances move between the light and the difficult as the women speak about belonging, prejudice, and longing.
Each monologue offers its own unique perspective on life as a Greenlandic woman in Denmark – exploring spirituality, everyday racism, linguistic nuances, and the experience of being held accountable for one’s country’s issues, whether at parties or in fleeting encounters on the beach.
