The Ballhaus association collaborates with the Royal Collection on this timeless musical drama, where Rosenborg Castle - as a building and cultural historical reference - is presented from completely new angles. The performance is based on the history of the castle and the people who have witnessed significant events and intimate moments within its walls.
Through newly composed music, sound art and drama, our common history and cultural heritage are updated in an entertaining and engaging performance. A series of 'soundscapes' lead the audience through the rooms of the castle up to the Knight's Hall, where the threads come together in a mini-concert featuring two classical singers, two harpsichords, clarinet and flute.
“Rosenborg revisited” is directed by French dramaturg and director Florient Azoulay and composed by three different composers under the artistic direction of Poul Udbye Pock-Steen.
