"Sangen om Oda og Anton" is a powerful and touching story about two ordinary people like you and me. A story about finding the courage to put your life and heart in the hands of others. About dancing together through bubbling joy and finding your way in the deepest sorrow.
Oda was a tall girl with red hair and freckles. Ever since she was little, she was fast. And she loved to run. It wasn't something anyone had asked or inspired her to do. It came from deep within herself - the joy of running. Anton waited for love and knew it was the pillar that held the world up. No one can explain where Anton got that certainty.
They met at Kratballen on a summer evening under bright stars and lanterns. Even in that first glance there was a knowledge of all the joy, pain, warmth and hopelessness they would experience together.
"Sangen om Oda og Anton" received high praise at its premiere in 2024 and won a Reumert statuette later that year.
The performance is curated and presented by CPH STAGE in collaboration with Teater V and teater RUM.
ATTENTION! Please note that the play deals with the topic of losing a child.
