The team behind the hit show "Museum of Shadows" continues their journey into trauma theater with NEMO. Join us for an explosive mix of rebellion, paranoia and live music, where every room at Sort/Hvid is involved in a submarine captain's escape from a world in chaos. Do you also have fantasies of disappearing?
An arsonist ravages Copenhagen. The citizens flee as the flames spread. In the Amalie Skram nightclub, hidden in the depths of the city, only a few remain: Captain Nemo, his adopted daughter Sonja and Commissioner Moreau.
Without realizing it, Nemo is drawn into a hidden network of saboteurs. The plan: destruction, escape and a new society. Soon, he is headed for his own destruction. Aboard the giant submarine Nautilus, he is forced to confront a world he no longer understands.
Jokum Rohde has written a claustrophobic contemporary portrait inspired by Jules Verne's "A Voyage Under the Sea". A story about a world in decay, a man on the brink of disintegration and a future for the uncompromising.
All of Black and White is included in an immersive set design where the audience steps into Nemo's mythical Nautilus. Follow along in a twisted fever dream. A nocturnal struggle to reshape a disintegrating society. An explosive mix of rebellion, paranoia and live music performed by musician and sound designer Jacobe Suissa.
Trauma lies in the depths.
