Sustainability Tour

The Royal Danish Theatre (The Playhouse, The Opera and The Ballet) is committed to environmental sustainability and reduction of energy consumption. Head of Environmental Sustainability, Kim Fridbjørg, will give you an introduction in the Royal Danish Playhouse to their sustainability strategy. They have already halved their energy consumption partially due to solar panels on the rooftop of the Opera. They have set up quotas for the amount of what can be new and how much need to be recycled things in productions. They have developed reusable, flexible scenography components.
